RUSSELL MARTIN has been told his attempt at Rangers team bonding would have been painful for his stuttering squad.

The under-fire Light Blues boss took his players wild water swimming and up 361-metre Conic Hill on Monday.
Martin (inset) organised the events as part of a day out in an attempt to change the scenery in the hope the players can reset after a torrid start to the season.
Rangers haven't won in five league games and could be bottom by the time they play in it again.
