Replica trophy gets the ball rolling for fans

LEGO has unveiled a brick-built replica of the World Cup trophy ahead of next year's tournament.

The model, which launches in March 2026, arrives just in time for the expanded 48-team showdown across North America.

The replica stands at just over 36cm and mirrors every curve of the iconic 18-carat gold original using 2,842 gold-coloured bricks. It's the largest use of gold-toned pieces in any set the company has ever released.
