THE weekend looks to be an Easter washout with a wet and dull forecast with weather warnings and flood fears for several counties.

Heavy rain was due in 11 counties with a Status Orange rain warning for Wicklow ending today at 11am.
A separate Status Yellow rain warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Louth, Waterford and Wexford was due to end earlier at 6am.
Rain warnings for counties Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway and Mayo ended last night.
Met Eireann predicted “localised flooding” in all affected counties over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
