PAUL'S HAUL Paul Geaney added Munster title on Sunday

- BY STEPHEN BARRY

IN so many ways, 2025 would appear to have been the dream year for Paul Geaney.

In Kerry colours, the full-forward helped to deliver a clean sweep of National League, Munster, and All-Ireland titles.

The club campaign has produced more historic breakthroughs.

Dingle won a first Kerry title in 77 years and broke new ground this weekend by claiming Munster honours.

Yet, 2025 has been as mentally tough as it has been rewarding.

A shoulder injury curtailed Geaney’s Championship involvement with Kerry. He played through a hamstring tear in Dingle's county semifinal and final.

In Sunday's Munster final victory over St Finbarr's, he pulled his calf and went off for six minutes for a concussion check.

Still, between the county and provincial finals, the Dingle captain has contributed 3-4.
