THE secret to global success is going back to school, according to Ed Sheeran.

He's revealed his chart-topping back catalogue is all down to sticking to strict “school hours”, forcing himself to write songs.

Ed said: “Monday to Friday it’s school hours 9-3, I think that being creative has a lot to do with just doing it and just being in a room and starting something rather than waiting for inspiration to hit you.
