Drive to cut down on test waiting times

DRIVING testers are working round the clock to cut waiting times while the missed test figure is now down to 2.2%, road safety chiefs revealed.
The backlog was as long as 27 weeks in April - but it is now down to 17.2 weeks, according to the Road Safety Authority's new chair Anne Graham.
