Daniel sister wants State to say sorry

THE sister of murder vic- tim Daniel McAnaspie has called for a State apology because of his brutal kill- ing while in care and has threatened to sue the HSE.

Cathriona McAnaspie's brother was 17 when he was stabbed to death at Tolka Valley Park near Blanchardstown, Co Dublin, in 2010.

His remains were not found for two months until they were discovered in a drain on a farmer's land in Co Meath. Daniel, from Finglas in Dublin, was in State care and had been known to services for most of his life after losing both parents at a young age.
