'Excited' to start show next year
CLAIRE Byrne has said she is excited for a new chapter at Newstalk as her start date has been confirmed.
It was announced in August that Claire would be leaving RTE after 15 years and re-joining Newstalk, where she worked before moving to the national broadcaster.
David McCullagh has taken over her show after she finished up at the end of October.
As Newstalk have unveiled their new weekday and weekend schedule to come into effect next year, her start date has been confirmed. She will make her debut on The Claire Byrne Show, which will be on air from 9am to 12pm on weekdays.
