Irish winner's craic of gold
ONE person in Ireland has officially become the biggest EuroMillions winner the country has ever seen - scooping a jaw-dropping €250m jackpot in last night's record-breaking draw.
And the mystery player may even still be unaware of the life-changing news, as the National Lottery app crashed under the weight of users desperate to check their tickets.
A message on the app read: "High traffic. Please try again later. Due to high traffic volumes we are unable to process your request at this time."
The jackpot had remained capped at €250m for four consecutive draws before finally being won by a single Irish ticket holder in tonight's main EuroMillions draw. The winning numbers were: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 with Lucky Stars 03 and 05.
