Hoops told to cough up if they want Bodo striker as Hearts legend questions Celts' bottle

CELTIC have been told they'll need to stump up close to £7m to land striker Kasper Hogh.

The Hoops have entered the chase for the Bodo/Glimt hitman with £1.5m misfit Shin Yamada checking out of Parkhead to German second division outfit Preussen Munster on loan for the remainder of the season.

Celts snapped up Tomas Cvancara from Borussia Monchengladbach until the end of term but are still in the market for another frontman - while also looking to bolster several other positions.

Hogh is being looked at with Bodo ready to cash in - and the Norwegian shock troops have already bounced out a bid from Norwich City.

The Canaries - led by ex-Rangers boss Philippe Clement - are considering upping their offer while Celts are in the frame.

Matin O'Neill has admitted the Hoops are shopping mainly in the loan market - but could be persuaded to push the boat out for a longer deal if an option fits the bill.
