RODRI is facing a battle to be fit for Manchester City's Champions League clash at Monaco this week.
The Spain international, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2024, was forced to sit out of City's 5-1 spanking of Burnley on Saturday after suffering pain in the same knee he had an operation on last season to repair ruptured ligaments.
The news will be a big concern to City boss Pep Guardiola.
