Farke insists Leeds will rediscover spark after drawing blank in March

- BY ISAAC JOHNSON

WE'LL FIND THE SAFETY NET

DANIEL FARKE doubled down on his belief that Leeds will beat the drop, despite ending March without a Premier League goal all month.

As well as their dry March in front of goal, Leeds fans have to cast their minds back to February 10 for their previous goal from open play.

With seven games left to secure topflight football for next season, the relegation trap door is still uncomfortably close.

But manager Farke said: “I'm not alarmed. Over the course of 38 games, you have these experiences.

“I would just judge this game in isolation, because Brentford had a good defence of the area, you have to say.”

The Bees did set up with five defenders at the back for the first time since December, with head coach Keith Andrews stating this was out of necessity amid a spate of injuries.
