VITAL ACCREDITATION FOR UNIVERSITY CENTRE GRIMSBY
University Centre Grimsby
EDUCATION and civic leaders have welcomed news that Grimsby's commitment to bringing forward a new generation of social worker has been made possible with vital accreditation.
The University Centre Grimsby has received official confirmation that they are now an accredited social work education institute, paving the way for a new degree course in the subject which will in turn open the door to more people in the area looking to take it up as a career.
The move follows an assessment in August by Social Work England. The specialist regulator for the sector sets out the professional standards that a social worker in England must know, understand, and be able to carry out.
