Police arrest 33 in crackdown on driving offences

A FOUR-DAY blitz on dangerous driving by Devon and Cornwall Police led to 33 arrests and more than 250 speeding offences recorded.
Operation Lockspring targeted the so-called 'fatal five' the top causes of serious and fatal road traffic collisions: speeding; failure to wear a seatbelt; using a mobile phone while driving; driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; and being medically unfit to drive.
