City were 'humbled' by Crawley, says Caldwell

EXETER City manager Gary Caldwell admitted his Grecians side had been 'humbled' and that they were way off the pace when they suffered a 3-1 Easter Monday defeat to Crawley Town.
The Red Devils were 3-0 up inside 22 minutes as they picked up a massive win in their bid to survive League One relegation.
Rushian Hepburn-Murphy scored twice, and turned provider for Panutche Camara's goal as Crawley were out of sight with only a quarter of the game goal.
Caleb Watts did pull one back for the Grecians in the first half with a looping header. But City offered very little in terms of a second half rally and barely threatened after the break as they couldn't repeat the trick of coming from three goals down to Crawley to grab a point as they did earlier in the season. And the day went from bad to worse when Ed Francis was sent off late on for a second booking for sarcastically applauding a decision from referee Ben Toner.
