'My greatest honour': Comer's crowned queen of the Tonys with one-woman show
Evening Standard
|June 12, 2023
Robert Dex Arts Correspondent JODIE COMER said appearing in her one-woman stage show Prima Facie was the "greatest honour" as she triumphed at the Tony Awards in New York.
The Killing Eve star saw off competition from stars including Jessica Chastain to be named best leading actress in a play for her performance as a young barrister specialising in sexual assault cases who is herself attacked by a colleague.
The 30-year-old's latest honour - and first Tony-follows her win at last year's Evening Standard Theatre Awards for the same show.
