Sun, sea and scrolling: what we seek on foreign holidays
Edinburgh Evening News

New research has revealed the nation's top travel habits ahead of the summer, with people in Edinburgh apparently not too fussed about travelling.
While Brighton has been crowned the UK's most travel-obsessed city, followed by Reading and Liverpool in a list of the UK's most well-travelled cities, Edinburgh residents travel almost 12 per cent less than the national average.
Just under half of Capital residents (38 per cent) travel abroad three or more times a year - that's higher than Belfast, level with Cardiff and lower than London - securing Edinburgh 18th place in the overall rankings, reflecting its solid but moderate position in the UK's travel scene.
