"I think bringing Steve Round in, even if it was only part-time, in February was a smart move from John and the club.

"The coaching experience he has working with Mikel Arteta may have been the difference between relegation and survival.
"Derby put together some good results, which was vital as they are a huge club.
"They get 30,000 fans at Pride Park Stadium every week and if you can get them on side, I can see them having a better season next year."
JERRY Yates has been linked with Championship clubs Hull City, QPR and Blackburn Rovers after his loan with Derby County finished.
MLS clubs are also reportedly interested in the Swansea City forward, who scored 10 goals for the Rams in the 2024-25 season.
