MICKY VAN DE VEN insists his decision to walk off the pitch after Tottenham's frustrating 1-0 defeat to Chelsea was nothing against Thomas Frank.

The Dutchman, who netted an incredible solo goal on Tuesday night in Spurs’ 4-0 Champions League demolition of Copenhagen, has now put the issue firmly to bed after both he and Djed Spence apologised to Frank in his office on Sunday.

The 24-year-old said: “It's the past, so I don’t want to make it bigger than it is.

“Djed and I walked off, we were just frustrated after the game. It was nothing big.
