OLIVER Tarvet led Britain's glory charge at Wimbledon - then said he has six months to blow £70,000 or lose it.

The 21-year-old started his first-round match at 733 in the world - the lowest male-ranked player at the tournament.

But he set a sizzling 32.3C venue on fire by walloping Swiss star Leandro Riedi, 23, in straight sets to go from zero to hero.

The victory guaranteed the student £99,000 in prize money - nine times his previous career earnings.
