LUKE DONALD insists he has given “no assurances” to LIV Golf stars Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton over their Ryder Cup prospects.

Rahm (inset, bottom) refused to discuss any chats with Team Europe captain Donald ahead of the US PGA Championship.

Donald admits he “would love” Rahm and Hatton (inset, top) to be eligible to play at Bethpage Black in September after both left the PGA Tour for the breakaway league last year.

He said: “Well, I haven’t given anyone the nod. I think it’s a little bit too early for that.
