TWO more winners last weekend gave Gavin Sheehan's David Power Jockey's Cup points tally a real boost and, speaking to Great British Racing, the rider returns with his thoughts on this weekend's action.

LAST weekend was a fruitful one for me in the David Power Jockeys Cup. I had nice winners at Ascot and Windsor in the Berkshire Winter Million.

With the points I gained across the weekend I'm now sitting in a solid sixth place, with a gap of 24 points between me and Charlie Deutsch in seventh place.

Those weekends where you're able to nick a few points will be so important come April, because most of the time you're facing some tough asks, much like this weekend!

CHELTENHAM RIDES

I've got three mounts at Cheltenham today and, while it's always nice to be riding here, it's not going to be easy to pick up many points.
