Ombudsman flies home to land the Juddmonte after pacemaker gives them all a fright

OMBUDSMAN exacted revenge on Coral-Eclipse Stakes conqueror Delacroix in a Juddmonte International Stakes that took trainer John Gosden to the brink of heart failure.

The Godolphin-owned four-year-old and William Buick had sat far off a searing pace before powering home for the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.
