Teachers trained to fight back at thugs

SELF-DEFENCE training has been rolled out to teachers in Scots schools amid youth violence epidemic.
All school-based staff in West Lothian have been undergoing maybo training = designed to deescalate conflict and reduce the need for force in hostile situations.
The move comes shortly after Scotland was revealed as having the highest rate of violent injuries to teachers in the UK.
A source said: “West Lothian Council have rolled out maybo training in all schools in response to the situation with violence in classrooms. There have been that many assaults on teachers and staff that they feel this training can help.
