Ex-Tory under fire for attending event with troll who said black people cannot be Scots

A REFORM UK councillor has been condemned after she was pictured with a far-right campaigner who says black people cannot be Scots.

Former Tory-turned-Reform representative Claire Mackie-Brown attended a demonstration attended by members of the far-right Homeland Party. And she was happy to be snapped alongside flags bearing far-right slogans.

Among those seen holding up a variety of banners was Josh Fernie, who this week called for all Jews and Muslims living in the UK to be deported.

Mackie-Brown, a councillor for the Upper Braes ward on Falkirk Council, was pictured holding a flag emblazoned with the slogan: "Born & Bred in Falkirk Claire Mackie-Brown".
