MARTIN BOYLE'S Hibs future remains uncertain beyond the summer.

But right now the Easter Road hero is in no doubt he's playing his best football since the devastating knee injury that cruelly robbed him of a first World Cup run-out.

Boyle insists he's in "a right good place" and playing with a smile on his face for club and country after netting his 11th goal for Australia in a 5-1 win over Indonesia.

That victory on Thursday took the Socceroos another step closer to next year's showpiece, with Boyle driven by his own American dream to make up for missing out on Qatar.

And Hibs fans will testify to the fact the 31-year-old is in full flight.

He's hit 14 goals for David Gray's side this season, helping them recover from a horror start to charge into third place on the back of a 15-game unbeaten league run.

But it's not just domestically Boyle's numbers are soaring.
