Sione says Scots must rise to the occasion
IT'S time to rise to the occasion. That was the message from Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu last night as his team aim for a first-ever win over the All Blacks.
So far 120 years have passed since the sides first met.
And in the 32 meetings to date, Scotland have lost 30 and drawn two.
So it will be historic if the home team finally defeat the New Zealanders at Murrayfield this afternoon.
There would be no better time to do it than this year, the 100th anniversary of the opening of the national stadium.
Glasgow centre Tuipulotu reckons believing they can win will be half the battle for his side. And although he knows it will be tough against opponents who are ranked second in the world, he still sees this match as a "massive opportunity".
