Braveheart ordered to stay away from his ex

Shamed football star bombarded victim with phone calls and emails for 6 months

FORMER Scotland captain Colin Hendry has been handed a restraining order and community service for harassing his ex-partner.

The 59-year-old former Rangers, Blackburn and Manchester City defender was sentenced at Preston Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Hendry, known as Braveheart in his heyday when he led his country at the 1998 World Cup, had admitted harassment of his former partner over a period of six months after their relationship ended.
