'Heart-warming' gift from woman whose life was saved off coast

A COASTAL swimmer plucked from danger left a few treats for the lifeboat crew that saved her.
Eyes widened when RNLI volunteers arrived for training at their station on Anglesey on Tuesday morning.
Outside were an assortment of chocolate cakes, along with a message explaining why they were there.
On Sunday, November 2, Trearddur Bay's inshore lifeboat had been scrambled south to Rhosneigr following reports of a swimmer in difficulty.
After navigating choppy seas that drenched the boat with spray, the crew was guided to the exact spot by local coastguard rescue teams watching from the shoreline.
Trearddur Bay helm Dafydd Griffiths said: “The casualty was in a difficult position due to the proximity of rocks and a reef.
