Dad Neville says Norris remains a racist thug

STEPHEN Lawrence's father has said that the decision to refuse parole for one of his son's killers is correct, as the man is still a racist thug who has shown no remorse.

David Norris, 49, was denied his "cynical" bid for freedom this week over concerns he may still pose a danger to the public.

He was jailed in 2012 for the murder of Stephen, 18, in South-East London in 1993.

The Parole Board found Norris had "consistently minimised or denied his attitudes and behaviour" at a hearing in October.

Stephen's dad, Neville Lawrence, said of Norris: "I welcome the Parole Board's decision.
