Ryder's US mob shame the game

HAVING just watched the wonderful Ryder Cup, I was just wondering if Americans have adopted the mentality of the Trump administration? I will refer to them as a “mob” as I won't dignify them with the term “fans”.

They were a disgrace. The few spoiled it for the majority - what some did bordered on cheating.

It was such a shame watching one of the bastions of true sportsmanship and honesty dragged into the gutter. The greats who have graced this wonderful game must have been shaking their heads at the disrespect shown.

Well played, the European team, and well played, the American team, on a magnificent comeback. It’s a shame it was tarnished by the Trumpites of New York.

These were scenes I never thought I'd witness at the Ryder Cup. I don't blame Rory Mcllroy for refusing to play his shot. Some of those in the crowd made it impossible for him to concentrate.
