LUKE LITTLER was knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Bahrain Masters - before Michael van Gerwen won the title in a final packed with a Dutch of class.
Double world champion Littler was beaten 6-2 by Gerwyn Price, who then lost 7-2 against Van Gerwen in the semifinals. Van Gerwen went on to win an all-Dutch final 8-6 as he beat world runner-up Gian van Veen.
