Jesus strikes twice to secure perfect Gunners top-two slot
GABRIEL JESUS fired his first Champions League goals in more than two years as Arsenal beat Inter Milan to cement a top-two spot.
Brazilian striker Jesus last found the net in the competition in the 6-0 drubbing of Lens in November 2023.
But he delivered his first Champions League brace for the Gunners inside 31 minutes, scoring either side of Petar Sucic's stunning strike for the Serie A leaders.
Sub Viktor Gyokeres (circle) added the gloss with a superb curling effort late on to seal a seventh win in seven matches.
Few English sides have won at the San Siro. Arsenal became the first to do so in 2003, Thierry Henry scoring twice, a feat matched this time by Jesus.
Manager Mikel Arteta made seven changes with an eye on the clash with Manchester United on Sunday, and watched his side deliver a performance and victory worthy of potential Champions League winners.
