Pride of Britain host Carol Vorderman

Carol Vorderman has hosted every Pride of Britain ceremony, yet the thrill of meeting the amazing, selfless winners never fades.
The broadcast legend is getting ready to present the 26th year of the awards, with co-host Ashley Banjo, this month.
She says: "It's just wonderful to be in the same room with all the winners.
"It lifts you. With all this terrible stuff in the news, you get to hear the stories about good people, who get drowned out otherwise.
"I think it's more important than ever that we celebrate them." While Carol, 64, and Ashley, 37, will host The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, with P&O Cruises, bubbly Florrie Bark, aged nine, will be doing interviews on the red carpet.
Acute myeloid leukaemia sufferer Florrie, who set up a charity with her family to support children with cancer, won last year's Child of Courage award.
