Eagles out to crack Glas deal

CRYSTAL PALACE are stepping up their efforts to tie down manager Oliver Glasner to a new deal, amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.

The highly-rated Austrian (top) led the Eagles to their first major trophy - the FA Cup - with victory over Manchester City.

He has since won the Community Shield and enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season, with the Eagles going into the international break just four points off the top.
