I can't believe he's gone.. so caring, such a good person

DANIEL Anjorin lit up the lives of all those who met him before his life was tragically ended in Tuesday's horror sword attack, friends revealed last night.

As the much-loved 14-year-old's devastated family tried to come to terms with their terrible loss, heartfelt tributes were paid to the star pupil and talented footballer after he died on the way to school.

And it emerged neighbours tried to warn Daniel about the attacker as he approached him but he did not hear as he was wearing headphones.

The rampage also left four other people in hospital - and a man was last night charged with murder.

BRIGHT

Cyan Thompson, 19, who played football with Arsenal fan Daniel, described as "a mini-Messi" and said: "Everyone is heartbroken.

"I can't believe he has gone. He was from a lovely family and was such a good person with great manners.

"He was so caring, top-notch. He gave joy when you saw him. He was so bright with a great future ahead.

Janti Charalambous, whose son attended a prep school with Daniel, dropped off a bag of supplies to the youngsters' family yesterday - as floral messages piled up outside their home.

The youngster's heartbroken parents Ebenezer, 59, and Grace, 49, are said to be using their Christian faith to help them cope with the grief.

Janti said: "They are in shock, heartbroken. He was such a young boy taken away from his family. It's heartbreaking. At least they got their time to spend with Daniel, 14 years.

"Their faith is sustaining them. We are all supporting them.

"Daniel was an amazing young man.

He was good at his studies and he was good at his sports.

"He was a joyful boy. He brought his family lots of joy and his life  has just been taken away. Just walking out on his way to school.
