THE sole survivor of the Air India disaster says it is a miracle he is alive but he has "lost everything" as his brother Ajay was one of 241 who died in the tragedy.

Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, who walked away from the plane crash in the city of Ahmedabad in June, added that talking about the disaster is very painful.

The London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed into a medical college moments after takeoff on June 12.
