Ban on Kyiv using weapons supplied by West inside Russia was secretly lifted months ago

A RESTRICTION on Ukraine's use of Western-supplied missiles on Russian targets was secretly lifted in November, we can reveal.

The lifting of the ban may mean Nato countries, such as the UK, will face a major escalation in tensions with the Kremlin and more open hostilities.

This month, the Daily Mirror warned relations with Moscow were making the UK especially vulnerable to Russian-backed sabotage.

Police believe three suspected arson attacks on cars and homes linked to Keir Starmer may be connected to Russia but Moscow has denied this.

For months, Ukraine has hit targets deep in Russian territory, particularly ammunition and kamikaze drone factories. It had been believed Ukraine was limited to firing missiles into Russia only in defence of Ukrainian positions in Kursk.
