Tory donor won't back Rishi after 'mad eco U-turn'

A LEADING Tory donor has threatened to switch his support to Labour over the "madness" of Rishi Sunak's green policy U-turn.
Billionaire John Caudwell, was the party's biggest donor before the last election. Mr Sunak announced a delay on the ban of new petrol and diesel vehicles from 2030 to 2035 and on gas boilers in all new homes from 2026 to 2035.
