Rishi's plan to boost young people's skills with 100,000 new apprenticeships
RISHI Sunak has vowed to axe worthless degrees to fund 100,000 more high-skilled trainee posts every year.
The Prime Minister will today spell out Conservative plans to give those starting out in life a leg up by ending the rip-off university courses.
Mr Sunak's move is among proposals to spend £889million on boosting young people's skills.
The Tories say they will save £910million of taxpayers' cash by scrapping courses that leave graduates no better off and with no chance of paying back their student loans.
Worst-performing university courses will be assessed on government data including drop-out rates, job progression and future earnings potential.
