'Labour's war plan stolen from Tories'

THE Tories' defence spokesman has accused Labour of adopting Conservative defence commitments and announcing them as if they were their own.
James Cartlidge hit out after Defence Secretary John Healey put the UK on a war footing, saying it was time to "rearm Britain" as Europe debates sending troops to Ukraine.
Shadow Defence Secretary Mr Cartlidge said: "John Healey keeps banging on about being the first Secretary of State for Defence to reform defence - and yet so much of what he is announcing is work from the last government."
