Labour under fire after union plans fresh strike despite bumper pay rise offer

EXPOSED!JUNIOR DOCTORS' PLOT TO CRIPPLE NHS AGAIN

A PLOT by junior doctors to strike again despite already banking a huge pay rise is today exposed by the Daily Express.

Our revelations led to Tory MPs accusing the Labour Party of being too weak to stand up to its "union paymasters".

Pain

Ex-Home Secretary Dame Priti Patel said: "It's taken just a month for Labour to show their true colours."

The leadership contender added: "Not content with extracting an inflation-busting pay deal from this dreadful socialist government, the unions will now inflict more pain and longer waiting lists on the British public to demand more.

"This shows why the Conservative Party must unite to win the next election and put an end to a government-run and funded by secretive union bosses."

In video footage sent to this newspaper, a British Medical Association employee told rotating and newly qualified junior doctors that the plan was to launch fresh pay strikes next April.

She said: "[BMA negotiators] are recommending that you vote Yes on the offer. They recognise this is not full pay restoration. But they are recommending that we accept, 'bank' these initial gains, build and then go again in April 2025."

She added: "If the offer is rejected then this means we would need to re-ballot members. We are coming to the end of our strike mandate. And we would need to escalate action significantly to move on with the Government.

"And after 11 rounds of strikes, we are getting feedback that members are feeling some fatigue." Tom Tugendhat, another contender for the Tory party leadership, accused Labour of surrendering to the unions.
