REFORM LEADER'S PROPOSED COUNCIL TAX RISE FOR WARKS

WARWICKSHIRE County Council's Reform leader has revealed a proposed rise in Council Tax for locals across the county.

In doing so, councillor George Finch said that they have tried to keep the rise ‘as low as possible’.
He said that, at the annual budget setting meeting next week, Reform will be proposing as a 3.89 per cent rise in its share of Council Tax.
Council Tax bills are made up of precepts from the county council, Warwickshire Police and borough/ district councils.
In a social media post, the Bedworth central representative said: “At next week's budget meeting we're proposing a 3.89 per cent Council Tax rise. We're keeping this year's rise as low as possible while protecting vital frontline services. Now it's over to the opposition:”
