Car park charges at some country parks set to rise
Coventry Telegraph
|January 30, 2026
CAR park charges at some Warwickshire country parks are set to to rise - one by up to 20 per cent.
The changes are being proposed by Warwickshire County Council, which is in charge of country parks across the county,
It is part of its proposed fees and charges for 2026/2027. A council paper explains that several country parks will be exempt from a rise in daily charges as well as annual and disabled permits because they had a price increase last year.
But there are several where the charges will rise and in Stratford Greenway's case, it could be by up to 20 per cent. This, according to the paper, is to make it competitive compared to other Stratford town centre parking charges.
