Four areas of Cov that police to carry out weapon sweeps

POLICE have revealed a list of areas in Coventry they will be checking for hidden weapons.

They say they will be carrying out weapon sweeps in green spaces such as Stoke Heath, The Lindfield, Caludon Castle Park and parts of the River Sowe.

This, the Stoke and Wyken Neighbourhood Policing Team, is to 'remove any potentially dangerous items from the community! It forms part of the work locally for 'OpSceptre'.

The week-long action is taking place across the country to tackle knife crime.
