Boro's injury woes grow off-Targett

MIDDLESBROUGH are facing a “potentially nightmare scenario” as caretaker boss Adi Viveash prepares the Teessiders for tonight's first-versus-second clash with his former club Coventry City.
Boro, who came from behind to take a point in a 1-1 draw at Oxford at the weekend, suffered another injury blow at the Kassam Stadium when left-back Matt Targett limped off at halftime with a calf problem, replaced by winger Sammy Silvera for the second half.
The North East club were already without defenders Dael Fry, George Edmundson and Darragh Lenihan at Oxford.
