Tourism winner urges youth to opt for careers in sector

MOTTY Makwena Nemusibi (33), the winner of the tourism sector category in the 2025 Vhembe District Youth in Business Competition, shared her inspiring journey and advice as a motivational speaker at the launch of the Limpopo Youth in Tourism initiative.
The event was held at Vuwa Lodge in Polokwane on June 20.
Nemusibi, who owns a beauty spa, encouraged young people to be creative and carve out their own space in the tourism industry by showcasing their unique talents. She said tourism offers promising opportunities for youth to overcome unemployment, particularly in fields such as beauty, hospitality, customer service and entrepreneurship.
