£212k gym and soft play at leisure centre

PUBLIC URGED TO TRY OUT UPGRADED EQUIPMENT AT MEADOWSIDE
A LEISURE centre in Burton has opened its upgraded gym and will officially launch its extended soft play area this weekend.
Meadowside Leisure Centre has benefitted from a £212,000 investment by Everyone Active, who run the site in partnership with East Staffordshire Borough Council.
The project covers the expansion and refurbishment of the soft play, to enable youngsters to get active in an environment packed with excitement, while the gym features a raft of state-of-the-art machines from Life Fitness.
