Tech Gladys to expand across UK on mission to fix social care system
Bristol Post
|October 15, 2025
A BRISTOL technology platform on a mission to fix Britain's broken care system has announced the close of a £1.5m seed funding round.
Gladys was established by former barrister Georgina Robinson and repeat health tech entrepreneur Alex Sorisi to match care seekers and those with support needs to the UK's best local carers.
The raise was led by Cornerstone VC, with participation from Exceptional Ventures, Embryo Ventures, Ufi Ventures, Houghton Street Ventures and Conduit EIS Impact Fund.
It is understood the funding will be used by the company to expand across the UK, aiming to provide hundreds of thousands of hours of support by the end of 2026.
