BRISTOL Rovers’ new signing Yusuf Akhamrich has revealed that “conversations with the gaffer have gone smoothly” after becoming the club’s fifth January signing.

The 20-year-old completed his medical yesterday and trained with the squad ahead of the trip to Salford City for tomorrow’s League Two game. He has joined on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.

Speaking to Rovers club media after signing for the club, Akhamrich said: “I'm buzzing to be at Bristol Rovers. I can’t wait to get started. I've met all of the boys, and I can’t wait to get out there and start playing.
